Seaton got the 2026 East Devon carnival season under way last night as around 40 entries took part in the town’s landmark 60th anniversary parade.
Leading the way was the Bournemouth Carnival Band, with members dressed in spiderman costumes, followed by a colourful procession of illuminated floats, majorettes and walking entries making their way through the town’s streets.
The anniversary parade marked six decades of Seaton Carnival, drawing crowds along the route as the town once again celebrated the start of carnival season.
